DD Regalo – A Life Worth Living (Positive Type)

£150.00

Part of Positive Type Exhibition, in aid of Art Against Knives

Hand painted with acrylic, spray paint and pen on 270gsm Bristol paper
297mm X 420mm (Quadrum Wooden Framed)

Story Behind The Work:
Earlier this month (April 2019), a man was stabbed to death outside a pub in my community in the middle of the afternoon. I often hear stories of violence and crime on the news but hearing about it happening so close to home shook me. My piece 'A Life Worth Living' is a hope-filled cry for celebrating life and making the best of our shared experience with others. It's about fulfilling potential, making the right choices (even in bad situations) and being strong enough to do that while being there for others as well. This is our life, let's make it count together.
